My Puppy quilt for my Puppies!

P1060208 P1060211 P1060214My Easter weekend project is finished!  I wanted to complete this little puppy quilt for my dogs and here it is.  I quilted an all-over paisley for the first time without using a panto and I am pretty happy with how it turned out.  I think I will try to make the pattern a little smaller the next time.  I also machine stitched the binding since I wanted it to be more durable for the dogs.  It was so much faster than doing it by hand, I think I have found a new favorite way to sew on binding (thanks Mom). Now I wait and see if Kalie will lay on it or push it off her pillow!

My First Attempt at Pebbles

P1060183 P1060187 P1060181So my first attempt at quilting pebbles didn’t go too bad at all! It may have been a better idea to try it out on a colour other than white but it doesn’t show the mistakes as well so I am pretty happy with it over all. I love the way that pebbles look on a quilt too!

My New Little Drawstring Bag

I just completed this handy little drawstring bag.  I am offering a workshop for this bag on Saturday April 6th, and Saturday April 20th.  Ages five and up, adults are welcome too! All materials are included and there are a variety of fabrics to choose from.  Please contact me if you are interested.

John Deere Quilt

I just finished quilting this little quilt, perfect for a tractor loving boy who turns four soon!  I think he will love it for snuggling on the couch with.  I backed it with a brown polar fleece and used a pattern called “flames”.  I can’t wait to give it to him, just have to do the binding and I’ll be all done.
