I have been working on catching up on some of my customer quilts lately. I love looking at what customers make, quilters are such a diverse group. I am really happy with how this one turned out and I hope she likes it as much as I do!
The students have been working so hard this September and have been finishing things like mad! Here are a few pictures I’d like to share….
Here is a first year student at her first class, working on a practice sheet. It is important for the students to learn to control the machine and these practice sheets help them understand how the sewing machine works.
These girls are a couple of my first year students and have proudly finished their first project of the year, their own pillowcase!
Here are my second year girls all posing for the camera with their newly finished patch purses.
Luc made himself a kimono using the nightshirt pattern from the Kids Can Sew pattern pack. Very creative!
Emma finished her sewing bag during her Monday night class.
We have also had the sewing machines humming on Saturdays for the Halloween trick or treat bag workshop!
Emma made an Avengers bag for her sister, very thoughtful.
Allison, Emma and Abby all came on the weekend to make themselves a trick or treat bag. They are reversible, which all the girls thought was pretty cool!
